Textile Educational Courses - Disc2

Air Jet Texturing

The course gives the background and theory of the manufacture of Air Jet Textured yarns. It contains a detailed account of the theory of Air Jet Texturing together with a detailed description of the machine.

The course is designed to be of practical assistance to Managers, Supervisors and students. Also included are machine specifications, speed relationships, production calculations and fault finding.

This course is a convenient way of accessing information. The intention was to write the material in such a way that the reader could apply the knowledge immediately on the shop floor rather than it being purely academic in nature. In addition to theoretical description of the process and machinery available, this training material includes production calculations, touches on production planning and deals with utilities (electrical and compressed air) and specification development.

The course content has 25 topics ranging from theoretical principles through machine design to calculations and specification development and testing.
